I don't mean to sound critical, but I didn't see anyone holding that Krinkov properly when they were firing it.

ETA: This is a video taken of me with DC's Krinkov a couple of years ago, demonstrating how a pistol should be held. And yes, I was hitting the target every time.

This year I actually had a gun to bring but last year I didn't even have to ask one person if I could shoot what they brought. I had more than one person offering me a chance to get some trigger time on their toys.

Gotta love gun folks.

It was fun having some of the younger guys handling the M1 Garand and watching them shoot her, and some of the more experienced shooters had a good time shooting her as well. I just wish I had more M1 Carbine ammo to let more people shoot it as well.

I will never turn down the opportunity to shoot a Garand. It is by far my favorite rifle and I've shot a fairly wide variety of rifles in my 26 years.

Now that's funny! I was all the way on the other side when the first shot came out of that gun and INSTANTLY said "Garand" and had to go over. There's nothing that sounds like a Garand in the world. DAMN I WANT ONE!

What's funny is I actually heard you say "Garand" and I saw you scrambling over the piles of ammo cases to get over there. Lol.

If I can ever manage to get the money together to make a trip to the CMP North Store, I'll give you a buzz. I could use some company making that trip.

Gotta say thanks to Doc. I think he's earned the title of Shoot Planner in Chief lol.
