If it's anything like last year's shoot it is well worth the drive and then some, ask Mojo, he drove out from Pittsburgh

Sorry everybody, been out of the loop these past few months. Busy at work, and lots going on all around me. But finally getting this together.

Mtbkski: Official club address is... Elverson Rod & Gun Club 2877 Ridge Rd., Elverson, PA 19520 Hope you can make this one.

DC.... Glad to hear you and Tootie can come, was hoping to see you two again.

If you can't make it chris, then send your avatar instead.

This is open to everybody on the ZRT, active or not. Guests welcome.

Bill, bringing your wife this time, or just her food?

If anyone sees a few undead stragglers, chain them up until the shoot. Wouldn't be a zombie shoot without a few zeds in attendance....

    Two things:

Doc, did we come up with anything for reactive targets for this year (since they weren't so thrilled about us killing rocks)

2nd, Why the heck is this in the lounge? This should be in the events section!

    Hell yeah I am in.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

It's up in the air on bringing the wife, however, I may be bringing a guest that is interested in learning how to handle weapons for self defense. I told him that we could teach him everything he needs to know.

Edit: I will be bringing the wife's cookin though, wether she comes or not.

DC: Great point. Heading over to post in the 'Events' section also.

As far as reactive targets go, the club has a rule against metal targets. The "self-healing" rubber reactive targets are fine, as well as such items as clay birds, balloons, and such. Fruits and veggies are usually looked down upon, unless you pick up all the cabbage for cole slaw.

We can set up blocks of wood, or even logs and try to cut them in half. Balloons filled with shaving cream or water at 200yd (with a pistol... got balls?)... etc.

If you have ideas for reactive targets, let me know and I can try to get CRO approval pre-shoot.

Other than full auto, any caliber restrictions?

They won't allow plastic drums though, huh?

Bill, nope, tried to convince him (the CRO) last night, but he just couldn't see the point of the drums.

thelemite, only caliber restriction is 50 bmg. Apparently someone heard that they can break windows of nearby houses (yeah, right, and I got a bridge for sale...), and pushed it through the board a while back as a way to keep the neighbors at bay...
