Heidelberg 3 Gun Shoot Saturday 7-17

Ok,

Let's see some new faces this time! Who is down? Shoot starts at 10AM, I try to arrive around 9AM.

Rifle (Any mag fed semi-auto)
100rds

Pistol (Anything goes)
100rds

Shotgun (Anything goes, but you must use 7-shot loads or less)
25rds

Drinks/Cooler
This is a must, the last shoot I was at the heat ended up kicking my ass pretty bad. I was chugging water and that didn't seem to help. So I would recommend some Gatorade and one of the pop-up tents or whatever people have to block the sun. Also, dress accordingly. Not sure what the weather is supposed to be like but last time it was 98F+ 100% humidity and few places to hide from the sun.

Past shoots I have attended were great. They do tend to last a while so I would plan to stay until 4pm or maybe a touch later. Clean up help is always welcomed so if you can, hang around to help with a stage or 2. The people are great, and the stages are always new.


I am definitely all about getting the JFG crew together. This would make the waiting for the stages even better due to us more than likely talking mad shit on each other while we wait for the next stage. Anyways who is down?

Unfortunately I am unable to participate in the tactical shoot or skirmish d-day this weekend. I'll be upstate at my cabin, shooting alot of 9mm. I am definately doing the tactical shoot in August though.

I am kind of on the fence about tomorrow after my roof issue. I am leaning towards going but not 100% atm.

Is anyone else going for sure?

I'll definitely be there.

As far as the match taking a while, yes the last one did. Two reasons for that.

1. We had a record high turnout

2. People were not helping enough taping targets, resetting steel, and resetting clays after each shooter. This is a MUST. PLEASE, if you are not the on deck shooter, the person that just shot, the RO, or the scorekeeper, PLEASE get up and help reset the stages. Otherwise, we'll be there for a long time again. It's not fair for 2-3 people on a squad to do all the work while the rest of the squad sits around. It just can't happen.

If everyone even helped for just a stage it would fly compared to only a couple helping.

There's steel targets that must fall to count as a hit, so I wouldn't . . .
