Saturday OC at the DMV--2 encounters

I rarely post about OC outings because they don't usually amount to anything but a slight glance or random query concerning my employment. Anyway, I am taking my cousin to the Hanover DMV to take her license test and a few folks are waiting outside the door.

-As I go to walk in, I hear "Are you police?" (which always makes me chuckle inside as I look nothing like the typical LEO type)
-The voice came from one of two young men sporting urban dress, standing to the left of the door. I responded that I was a regular citizen and not involved in law enforcement.
-His friend replied "okay, I guess you have a license"
I was surprised to hear the term "license" over carry permit/conceal permit/blah blah. We spoke for a few minutes on OC and LTCFs, and where they could look into getting one and cost. At this point my cousin is giving me the griz and I realise it is time to move on. So before leaving I recomended they check out the site, gave them a flyer and made my way into the DMV.

Later on, while waiting at the counter a mid aged gentleman walks up to my strong side about 5 o'clock and leans in and says "Hey, I know you have a permit but you should tuck that in." As he turned and walked off, all I got in was "Its too damn hot to worry about covering it up." He never turned around, I guess he wasn't interested in a discussion.

Anyway, the first one was good. I was able to inform two fellas that looked interested and will hopefully make their way to the site.
