Re: NV Costco - CCer shot by PD
Even if there is a record of what happened (tape) you really can't believe it most of the time.
For example: You see an officer drawn down on a suspect who has his hands up...then the suspect reaches back behind his back and the officer shoots him......justified, right?
You'd think so if you didn't hear the audio and hear the officer scream "show me some ID"...followed by "bang bang bang."
Don't think it ever happens?...then good for you...please go back to your unicorn ranch.
Sadly, LEOs are human and it's natural to "CYA".

If civilians cant shoot until theyre absolutely 100% sure their life is in immediate danger, then Police shouldnt be able to shoot any sooner.

Wow there is a lot of story yet to be told behind this.
The police "were told" that he had a gun. Who told them? It doesn't say the 911 caller told them that.
Also, the officer spoke of the sequence of events in the present tense:
"He does not comply with that order. He reaches for the weapon, pulls the weapon out,".I look at that is a subconscious method of avoiding specifically listing the sequence of events in detail. He's throwing out information that can be adjusted with word-smithing later if the story doesn't match others' acocunts.
If a guy were "going berserk" with a visible gun, the other shoppers would not have been going about their business - they would have fled the store on their own.
So much wrong here, and I hope the right people get nailed to the wall.Tommy610, NRA Member, Romans 12:18

This guys civil, constitutional and basic human rights were violated by first the person who placed the MWAG call, and tehn ripped to shreds by the police.
If this is how it all panned out, and after reading the stories on it, it looks that way, then this man was executed for nothing more than going about his rights. No different than being shot for speaking his mind, or by going to the polls to vote.

That is an unlikely scenario, Police command will be consistent with let me see your hands and don’t move, And I hope that no one here will comply with a command of show me your I.D. while being armed and held at gun point.
In the story it was said the one of the commands was remove or throw your weapon, Highly Unlikely that a civilian as well trained as this guy would comply with that. Or that the police would make such a ridiculous command. I am convinced that the video does not support the accounts of the Police. and the city and these MURDERERS are in big trouble here.

This is murder, now I'm more scared to carry a gun to protect myself from criminals because cops can shoot me for responding to their orders.
Great job!

Lets wait to see what happens...
no matter what I don't see this working out in the cops favor, if there were that many of them there then there was surely at least one or two tazers that would have easily subdued the suspect.
They reacted without thinking and the result is a dead man... lets hope justice actually happens this timeThe first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.
