Really, one could make a very strong argument that President Obama himself has made a compelling argument that he is seeking a "well organized civil force that is every bit as well equipped and well funded as the US military."

By forming such forces locally, you would be fulfilling his vision, but without costing the tax payers a dime.

Seems to me like Barack is asking for your help boys.

    Ok, but I got dibs on a F-22. Maybe a B1-B, and i'll take a Ch-53 Super Stallion.

Howabout name it "Townsfolk Watchers And Training Service". Now that's an acronym.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but believe me, it's on the damned list.

I'm pretty sure he's already got the group in mind that he intends for that force. The wheels area already in motion for creating it.

It won't matter one iota if you were just preparing for a disaster, that isn't what the media will report, and chances are you won't have the ability to get the truth out when you're surrounded by the goons.
i think real time uploads (A/V) from your cell phone will do the trick.

btw. ridley report is at Qik. back on youtube 6.27. based upon the intrawebs.

Current siege strategy is to jam all communications. So if you were involved in something like Waco, you wouldn't be able to communicate with anyone but the officers surrounding you.

I saw the Ridley was over at Qik but I wasn't sure if that was the new site or what was going on.

    Cool Re: PA Militia?

I'm already part of an elite paramilitary unit...

    Eagle Scout.

Couldn't find the clip of that from Red Dawn, though.

Thank goodness that we have enough naysayers to squash anyone's notion of creating an organization that could compete with an Obama contolled group. I am grateful that the naysayers don't just keep their mouths shut and see what creative minds could produce... It is good to stop these ideas before they have a chance to germinate. I don't really think that the idea of a militia is really practical, and since I am so brilliant I will use my intelectual ability to ensure that any contrary ideas are eliminated before they have any opportunity to prove me wrong.

    /Do you sense the sarcasm?

I don't really see a PA militia working in a practical sense, but I really support the principal. I'm not going to nay-say, and I'll keep my ears open for something good. The law does not prevent law abiding citizens from being prepared, and I would gladly support a quality effort for J.Q. Public to take greater responsibility for his own security.

    Red face Re: PA Militia?

Speaking of militias, don't forget the Obama Youth program is still out there waiting to be unveiled - the "civilian" defense force = to the military he promised us.
