CCW in North Carolina?
I know that there is Reciprocity agreement between PA and NC.
Is there any good site explaining their CCW laws as far as to where not to carry, Law needed to be followed that differs from PA?Audemus jura nostra defendere

As mentioned above.. Handgunlaw.us
They have the typical off-limits places, but also a few more than PA. They are also a must-notify state. If pulled over or address afoot - just clearly and calmly state that you are licensed to carry the firearm on(in) your hip/pocket/console/glovebox/etc. Like, "hey buddy, I have a license for my pistol on my right hip", while keeping your hands on the steering wheel or clear of your gun. Dont wait til he's right up on your window, let him know when he gets to the back of your car.
All the LEO's I've ran into down there handled the notification with polite and professional manners.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515

Re: CCW in North Carolina?
I did not see that on the Handgun.us PDF. There was however what looks like a suggestion to notify...
While a weapon carried openly in an automobile would not be concealed, there are other problems attendant to this method of carrying a weapon. The principal drawback, of course, is in the event of a person being stopped by a law enforcement official, the officer may not readily know that person's purpose and intent for carrying a weapon. As such, it is imperative that a person immediately notify an officer of the presence of any weapon in the automobile, for the officer's and the vehicle's occupants' safety.NRA Life Member. North Carolina, like Ohio, has a pretty awful list of places where you're forbidden to carry. A lot of them are places you're likely to go while visiting -- restaurants that serve alcohol, any place that charges admission, etc. Last time in Ohio, I left my gun locked up at my brother's place.
