How many times to Pgh Penguins Stop by your office

Had Mark Recchi and Darryl Sydor from the Pittsburgh Penguins stop by the office today to sign some autographs so I got a couple nice photos autographed by them. Pretty cool, got to hang out and BS with them a bit.

My friend once almost accidentally ran over Peter Taglianetti outside Mellon Arena.

I've met dozens if not hundreds of hockey players over the years, but since I'm into minor leagues, I usually meet them BEFORE they are celebrities. Jody Shelley of the Columbus Blue Jackets? I have a videotape of him in a denim jumper and daisy hat. Hockey guys, especially the Canadians, which are slowly becoming a minority to American college boys, sure know how to goof off and have fun.

With the addition of Sidney Crosby and the other hot young guns, Penguins hockey has finally become exciting again and that excitement is now all over Western PA. I love it!

Surprisingly the topic never came up If it did they would probably say "well the fans do, but we get shuttled in the back door"

That's cool. I grew up in a neighborhood occupied by NFL players, but we were all too chicken shit to ask them for autographs. However, it was neat when they came out to throw a ball around with us for awhile every-so-often. They also gave out the huge bars for Halloween.

I met Colby Armstrong last year at a steelers game. He was cool. Only player of anything Ive ever met.

Met Chris Thornberg last year, and Matt Capps came in a few months ago.
