God Bless Texas
This story brought a smile to my face this morning.
To avoid getting delayed behind noisy schoolkids waiting in line to pass through new metal detectors at the state Capitol, lobbyists are signing up for concealed handgun permits exempting them from the security checkpoints.
This is how it should be. As usual, TX got it right (at least the part about allowing license/permit holders into capital w/o going through metal detector).Last edited by jtwalker; July 9th, 2010 at 07:59 AM.

Re: God Bless Texas
OK, so TX is not perfect. I was thinking more about there "liberal" usage of the death penalty for heinous crimes, and we all know anything liberal is in vogue now.

Texas has some absurd gun laws. imho, PA is much better with regards to firearm freedom.
