What would be your first choice to defend your family's life?
Out of 4 AR's & numerous 1911's & numerous other pistols Glock's, HK's etc.. If I had several hostil's that needed to be out down FAST & HARD. What would you choose? for me it's an easy answer this
Ignore text it was written to send someone else & I didn't want to dig it backout for this pic.
I'm old so I was raised of adjustable rifle sights which I can aim faster with them than any holosight/red dot & will slug's they go down FAST & HARD. Without a doubt this would be my first pic for the would be killers/robber's.
Since Beretta owns Benelli ...My Beretta has the same set up as Benelli's inertia drive system is noted for its simplicity since there are only three primary parts--the bolt body, rotating bolt head and inertia spring. It's also noted for its speed--no shotgun action is faster--its cleanliness--it's not tapping off gas and accumulating carbon--and for its versatility, since it can handle without adjustment everything from 2 3/4" field loads to 3 1/2" Magnums. This is one faster than hell shooting shootgun. I can get 2 inch group's @ 100 yds...with slugs ...not to shabby!
PS: I'm more at home with this than a pistol grip shotgun since I was raised on this style. It's simply feel's RIGHT. I'll be 54 this month so most of my life there were no pistol grip shotguns. This is just second nature & feel's like an extention of my arm, & I love old timer rifle sights... very natural & smooth fleeling.Last edited by Ronnies111; July 8th, 2010 at 10:44 PM.

Pet tiger named Simba. There will be no evidence.
Also works very well in the dark or light.
No calls to the police of shots fired.
Maybe some screaming but that will end quickly.Last edited by Koli01; July 8th, 2010 at 10:32 PM.

most definitely the shotgun....you may damage your house a bit....but you have a much better chance of hitting the BG

It is a shotgun. Not a claymore mine.

Re: What would be your first choice to defend your family's life?
1st choice would be my P220 though I would be perfectly content with my 1911. Shotgun at 15-20 ft (average size of most rooms) I may as well use one of my M1 Carbines or AR if I wanted a long gun. but with my pistol it's easier not to telegragh on corners and easier to move. Just my preference from past experience and training.
