Police: Man tries gunpoint robbery in Stroudsburg, gets beat up instead
July 08, 2010 A would-be robber in Stroudsburg got more than he could handle early this morning when he tried to rob two people at gunpoint and instead they fought back and took his gun.
The suspect was found a short time later with injuries sustained in the struggle, according to Stroud Area Regional Police. Jairo J. Mugaburu, of Stroudsburg will face charges after he was arrested following the attempted robbery.
At about 12:48 a.m. on Thursday, the two victims, age 23 and 21, were walking home through Quaker Alley in Stroudsburg when Mugaburu approached them near the entrance to the Stroudsburg Cemetery, pointed a 9-mm handgun at them and demanded that they empty their pockets.
Once Mugaburu got close enough, the 23-year-old lunged at him and began to struggle with him. During that fight, Mugaburu dropped his weapon and the 21-year-old victim picked it up. Mugaburu was able to break free and run away but not before he was bit on his right arm above the elbow, police were told.
When SARP officers and state police searched the area, Mugaburu was found on North Sixth Street. He was positively identified by the victims and police identified the bite mark on his arm.

Re: Armed Robbery Thwarted by Unwilling Victims
should have shot him
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Re: Armed Robbery Thwarted by Unwilling Victims
John Farnam and some other writers have used the acronym VBC, "Victim by Choice" and VCA, "Violent Criminal Actor" for some time. They nicely sum up the sheeple and the wolves.
