Are you weird about where you sit while dining?
I am very very weird about where I sit while dining out. I always request a booth with my back against a wall, or a table in the corner, I must always be facing an entrance/exit.
Just wondering if anyone else has the same issue?

Re: Are you weird about where you sit while dining?
I tend to move towards the walls/booths where I can see more of what is going on in front of me. I've been doing it since long before I carried, or became situationally aware. But now, I think it's a combination of just wanting to be out of the way of the other traffic, and being able to see what's going on. I HATE sitting with my back towards the room. I'm not sure if it's nosiness, or just the SA kicking in...

I agree, I don't like sitting with my back to the room or a window or door.

Re: Are you weird about where you sit while dining?
I am very aware of my seating position when dining. I choose to face the room if possible. Not so weird though I think.

i also try to sit with my back against a wall and facing entrances/exits as much as possible.
i wouldn't call it an "issue" or "weird". i would call it being smart.F*S=k

Re: Are you weird about where you sit while dining?
I definitely sit facing the door, or as much of the restaurant as possible. Facing the door with a huge amount of people behind you is not the best plan. The bad guy may already be in the restaurant.
To make things worse, I am normally left handed, so I have to shuffle everyone around if we sit at a booth(can't stand bumping elbows while I eat).
Luckily, I shoot right handed so I won't have to drop my fork to quickly if something happens.I can tell you've been rady8ed, you have a nice glow about you.

Re: Are you weird about where you sit while dining?
I wouldn't say I am "weird" about it, I simply prefer to be sitting facing the front door, and not have to turn 180 degrees to see the rear or emergency exit. That's just my situational awareness preference.

Sounds like you can get a table real quick if your willing to sit in the middle of the room.
I like the wall and corner seats also.
