    Default PSA - WASR2 5.45x39 at AIM, $399.99

    Just a public svc announcement...

For those that want a 5.45x39 AKM in the CORRECT chambering and with a chrome-lined bbl; look at the zombie-tough WASR2.

At least if the hammer drops on cheap imported mil-surp 5.45 - you won't have a pricey wallhanger.

That's a good deal, thanks for posting.
I wish they had them before I got my Saiga and converted it, would have saved me a few bucks for more ammo

Looks good for $30.00 less than AIMs WASR2, but after the Century Tantal US-made barrel fiasco - and given that toxic ammo is pretty much all that is affordable - I'd consider the chrome-lined Romy bbl version just to be safe.

Either choice is affordable and will be fun while the ammo supply lasts. Hopefully a good lonnnnnnnnng time!

If we could get more than just S&W and Oly to make 5.45x39 guns, we might stand a better chance of domestic makers taking off with the ammo. I mean, theoretically; if there is a demand, someone steps forward to supply the demand at a profit.

Well, OK, that doesn't explain .380ACP...

I would have picked one up if I hadn't just bought the PSL. I'll get one eventually. Still haven't told the girlfriend about the PSL!

Hm... ordered my first AK-47 Tuesday. Otherwise I'd be thinking about this AK-74...

AIM seems to have best price on these original CHROME-lined WASR2 "AKM-74s". They say they are down to 6 available. Remember how long everyone waited before these came back around again; like 18months?.

Cheap enough to part out into a 7.62x39 or 5.56 gun if the mil-surp dissappears.

    Just sayin.
