No personal experience but seems like a bad idea. If you, in a moment of panic, forget that it's there and fire, you've just disarmed yourself. I prefer a loaded and ready to fire pistol in an easily accessible safe for which only I have the combination. Besides, a kid could rack the slide before firing negating this safety device anyway.

Looks like a pretty dumb idea all around. Basically he's saying that when you need it, you just screw around with it for a while and eventually it will probably go bang. You could do the same thing with a snap cap for a lot less $$. Or just leave it in condition 3 (chamber empty).

The revolver solution is really bizarre -- seems that it "fires" and projects into the barrel, effectively jamming the gun until you open the cylinder and remove it.

Sounds like a "solution" looking for a problem, and this isn't it.

Condition one with out a real bullet ... Seems completely pointless ether keep a round in the chamber ready to go or not ... Why in the world would you want to have a fake bullet you have to cycle out in order to use your fire arm .. Why would you want to risk locking your gun up if you forget to cycle ..

If this went a step further maybe .. Like you had a blank in the gun that let you keep it in condition one but no bullet to " hurt anyone ".. Then when the fire arm is needed you would shoot the blank to rack the slide & chamber the live round .. That would allow a safer option for condition one , a warning shot for the BG, & the ability to use your pistol as trained ... But that still sounds Dumb .

This would maybe be ok for those that don't carry... In a carry aspect, even if you don't want cond. 1, this isn't a good alternitive.

I think they are playing the angle that some people might keep handguns lying around for home protection, and also expect their kids or criminals to get a hold of the guns... Not a problem for me, and I'm sure most. I'd be about pissed if I went to fire, and one of those "death warrant bullets" got stuck in my workings.

    i'm selling a competing product.

    it's called common sense.

step 1. don't store your weapons where kids can get to them.
step 2. don't store your weapons where criminals can get to them.
    step 3. profit.

PM me for paypal info, this product is not free!
