Iwla near dallastown

Ok, so I'm fairly new to the forum...and the area of dallastown, although I grew up in southern York county. Anyway, I cannot stand to spend another dime at a certain local indoor range...the range prices are crazy. The iwla is literally 4 mins from my house and the wife and I would like to join, but I think I need 2 sponsors. Anyone here a member that could tell me if I go to an open meeting some Tuesday night, would it be easy to grab a signature or two?

I've been thinking of the IWLA myself. The way I read the website was basically just show up at a meeting. It's pretty much right around the corner for me, too, about 4-6 minutes depending how long it takes me to get onto Queen St. There are a few cheaper (much) clubs around, but they are much further away (20 - 30 minutes), and I think they're a little more strict on the sponsorship (waiting list).

You could try Jefferson Sportsmens Club. No waiting list, and no work requirement and only one sponsor needed. I joined without even having to attend a membership meeting. They also have an adopt a new member program, that's how I got in.

Two Thumbs up for both clubs.....Jefferson and IWLA York are both first class facilities

I never went once nor did I renew.

....I might be going out on a limb here but, I'm guessing you didn't try and get involved in the club to try and change that did you?

I wasn't really interested in changing someones point of view or there social gatherings.

I was just looking for somewhere private to shoot with my familiy.
