Lower Salford Township encounters
Encounter 1:
I was out protesting again today, and two police vehicles pulled over in the parking lot across the intersection from me. They just sat there for a few minutes, until one of them drove over to me. The following short conversation went as follows:
LEO: Are you Robert?
Me: Yes
LEO: Get many honks today (in support of my protest sign)
Me: Lots!
LEO: Alright, have a good one.
And with that they both drove off. They even waved back at me. I should have asked if they got a MWAG call.
Encounter 2:
Later the same day a guy w/ his younger son pulled up next to me and said something to the effect of "I support what your doing, and I belong to the NRA too, but you've got some balls to be open carrying like that!
Encounter 3:
As I was walking home some kids on their bikes stopped and asked if I was a cop. I laughed and said no, but the gun is legal, and went on my way. I can only imagine what their parents would say if I had talked to them any longer than that!
All in all a great day!
Now to walk to the grocery store, with my sidearm, to buy a steak for dinner!

Re: Lower Salford Township encounters
I just joined this forum a few minutes ago because of something I saw today...
On my way home from work I saw a man wearing khaki shorts and white t-shirt, while holding a large sign saying, "Obama Socialist Traitor". Not to mention openly carrying a pistol in what looked like a Serpa holster on his left hip. It immediately grabbed my attention and I honked in support while giving the thumbs up!
Later tonight I googled "Obama Socialist Traitor" and immediately found this post. Good for you! Keep up the efforts.
