    Default Non Res Florida Concealed Carry License. Act 235 as approved training?

    I want a Florida Non-Res concealed carry. Can I use an Act 235 as the approved training? How many months after you Pa act 235 expires can you still carry (the period between expiration and getting a new card). I heard it was 6 months.

    Yes you can use your Act 235 training, provided you took ACT 235 WITH firearms as you can take act 235 with or without firearms. also you must not have waivered the firearms portion with previous suitable training. if that was the case then florida would need a copy of your previous firearms training certificate.

    When I applied to FL a few years ago,I used my ACT235(with firearms) card with no hassles. I called them first and they were very familar with the PA Act 235 card.

    I was wondering about "equivalent" training for Fl and UT carry permits... Would military weapons training?

    A copy of your DD-214 or current military ID suffices as firearms training for a non-resident Florida CCW.

    Read the instructions with the FL application. It will explain exactly what you must do.
