Does anyone know anything about NAGR, are they legit?

One night when I was getting real worked up about gun control I threw NAGR like 15 bucks on a whim. I had been getting their emails and they riled me up haha. I've been questioning their legitimacy but I haven't been enrolled in any auto-payments or anything so I figured the worst off I could be is out $15.

I've been meaning to kick in to the SAF though, they've been involved in landmark cases and seem to take the no-compromise attitude that the NRA had been shying away from.

My guess is they found this post via searching Google for their organization. Legit or otherwise, it is not unusual for people to register on forums to join conversation about their organization.

I'll need to do more research, but it seems like several other forums are coming to the conclusion this is might be a scam. I am not saying they don't do any Pro-2A politicking, but the general consensus on the other forums seems to be that they are more in it for the money... I do want to research this a bit more, though.

I agree 100%! it's very odd that a question is asked about them and the person who just happens to work for them just happened to start posting here? And then another new poster from out of state supports NAGR and attacks the NRA! All our resources are really needed today to fight the anti-gun forces. I mean no harm but send your money and spend your time where it will do good. Not some unknown group!

Do not waste your money with the group the OP asked about. They have been outed as a scam on most major gun forums and are at the forefront of attacking the other pro-gun groups as the shill posts here show. The shill posts should give you an obvious clue how they operate.

I liked them on facebook a while ago because they seemed OK but the constant postings of fear mongering got to me and i deleted them because im fed up with the bullshit.

I joined NAGR figuring that suporting all the pro-gun groups would help the cause. Big mistake, all I do is get email and snail mail from them looking for more money and the only isues I see them talking about is how bad the NRA is and why you should send more money to NAGR. Seems they are more interested in fighting the NRA then the clowns in DC. I haven't made up my mind on GOA yet as I see alot of the same postings from them but they are supported by Senator Paul.

NRA, GOA, SAF are all good and are legitimate. I think the Nagr's are trying to drain resources on purpose. Might be a bunch of leftist women running it.
