I wouldn't be surprised if some of these WonderLubes were just repackaged 55 gallon drums of Mobil 1 marked up at 50x the price...nice margin there...

This thread just reminded me...my dad has an OLD can of oil, probably from WWII era, that says "Lubricant for use in aircraft engines and machine guns."

I think i am still using mil clp from the 80s. Is that a bad thing? I havent had any problems.
on the other hand the old man was talking about oil they would run through the locamotives that was amazing stuff. Some guys used it for alot of things with good results. He said it was called HT 10. Cant really find any info on it.Last edited by jmiro; May 30th, 2012 at 05:23 PM.
