Re: Forks of the Delaware Historical Arms Society Gun Show
Not making the 4 hr drive one-way this time. One of the reasons I go to the FOTDHAS show is that my daughter goes to college in Allentown and I combine a trip to the show with a lunch/dinner date with her, but she's home for the summer.
The show is way too much a "same show different date" sort of show to make a special trip, and prices tend to be higher on the East side of the state. Great show to sell stuff, because of that, but I have nothing to peddle at the moment.

Show I won't miss and have now become a Life Member.
Want to see a big selection of history? Want to learn? Then this is one of the best shows you can attend.
Many exibitors-dealers seem to specialize on what they like so that maybe seeing a bit of the same but even their inventory & stories change.
For those who complain about prices, and for those who simply don't want to pay (more often the 'excuse')...try to put in & keep in mind...you can't make more antiques, which have been appreciating yearly! Market value & Capitalism rule.
There yesterday...Summer show attendance was as usual off, but saw alot of new faces.
