Default Before I go Shopping Today: Quick Poll

    I've got 2 CZ's (75B, and an SP-01 Phantom), 2 Glocks (19 and 35), and a Stoeger Cougar 8045.
A recent sale and credit is leaving me with about $650 to spend.
I love the CZ's. For me, they're probably the easiest pistol to shoot. Love the Glocks too, so another Glock isn't out of the question.

    My short list is:
    EAA Witness steel
    FNP-9
    S&W M&P
    Glock 26

Or, should I pick up another CZ, and if so, which one?

[Edit: I deliberately left SIG-Sauer off of the list, not just because of price range, but because as nicely made as they are, and recognizing that they're a "top shelf" pistol, I just don't shoot them well. I know it's me, not the gun, but whatever the reason, I won't buy another]

I voted M&P becuase I like them. Tho I've only shot the compact. My other vote would be then FN 9. Heard good stuff about them, again never laid hands on one yet.

How about you just give me the money to buy me the gun I want?

This way I can make the decision for you.

I can't believe I forgot to include that in the poll.

Get the CZ Kadet, either the Upper or the whole pistol, for cheap .22 practice to enhance your CZ 75 skills.

You need a nice wheel gun, maybe a S&W or Ruger.

If you are going the Classic, they have a few nice ones. Check out the Ruger SP101 with CT's. IIRC, they want somewhere around $650.00 for it.

If you want something crazy that shoots all kinds of flames and fireworks, checkout the used S&W 640. 357 magnum J-frames are nuts! It's not a gun that you'll put a ton of rounds through, but it sure is neat to shoot. If you buy it, you'll have enough left over for a good bit of ammo.

    Have fun - be safe.

Thanks to all who replied so far. I'll check the poll again via cell when I get to Tanner's (probably between 11:00 and noon sometime). So far though, the M&P and Glock 26 seem to be the top two choices. I don't yet have a sub-compact, so the Glock 26 makes sense. Looking (again) at the M&P reviews/videos, it also seems like a good choice. Of course, anything could happen once I get in the shop. Maybe the stars will align, and I'll find a pristine used G26 and M&P.

So hard to answer. Guns to me serve a purpose, so to what purpose are you buying another gun?

I get that variety is the spice of life, so if you're buying just for the sake of having, I'd suggest going off the beaten path a bit. You've got two CZs, and while the P-01 is a great gun, and I'd normally recommend it, because I like it so much, it's not really going to be that different from your current CZs.

If you've already got Glocks, the 26 might be a good conceal weapon for you.

I can't imagine why you'd want an EAA.

The M&P's and other semi's are fine weapons, but what do they give you that you don't already have?

For variety's sake, I'd go big honking revolver. If all you have are semi's, the revolver will give you something completely fresh to work with. Go big enough, and you'll turn heads at the range with every shot, too.

Or go little tiny carry piece.

Or .22, which is a joy to shoot and cheap.

Whatever the case, enjoy your new purchase! We're all jealous.
