I love making decisions about what gun to buy, please help me...

I have the opportunity to buy a CZ 75 compact D new, 14 rd mags, or a sig p225, with night sights.

The sig is like new, but used with 6 mags, and it's not a P6. The CZ is brand new w/ 2 mags.

I like both, the size difference is negligible. I shoot both equally well, but the CZ feels just a little better in the hand.

I can't take both kids home.

Take the CZ home. I have one and they make nice pets. Mine eats what I feed it, hit what I point it at and feels good in my hand.

If they are the same price I'd buy the Sig with 6 magazines the CZ is a good gun but the Sig is a Great Gun almost as good as my choice in guns ;-)

Anyway buying a used Sig in like new shape is the way to buy a Sig or any pistol with 6 mags. With each mag costing $35 X 4 you don't have to spend. usually a new gun comes with 2 mags

I assume since you didn't mention it the Sig does not have night sights. That pretty much equals out the extra mag benefit.

The way I understand what he wrote is that the Sig has night sites. If that is true, and it comes with 6 relatively expensive mags, I'd go for the Sig. The Sig will most likely have a better trigger too. Both are great guns, so you should be happy with either.

Also the Sig has a large 3rd party market the CZ is sort of closed in you really have to look far and wide for accessories for the CZ whereas the Sig can be found almost anywhere.

Holsters, sights and magazines might be more of a problem with CZ.

I'm partial to the 225... (just picked up my second today)

Both the 225 and the CZ are great and classic pistols, IMO - But I just loves me some Sigs...

I also agree that the additional 225 mags are icing on the cake...
