spring advise
ok so about 2 months ago i was cleaning out my taurus 85. i took the cylinder and yoke off and while i was handling it the cylinder stop spring and plunger went flying. i was wondeering where to get a new spring for me since i found the plunger but the spring is MIA. i called taurus and the guy told me he doesnt know what i was talking about... im not sure what part number it is but when i looked it up on their site it showed as part 12 in the taurus 85 parts diagram... called cylinder stop plunger and spring.. i did a little research but couldnt find one... any suggestions??

Re: spring advise
If Taurus won't send you one, go to Brownells and see if they have it listed in their gun schematics section.

Re: spring advise
I know this is no help to you but may be to others: this is one of the reasons one buys a Smith & Wesson. They have employees who know what parts are in their guns, they speak English, and they actually try to help their customers.
I am sorry that your Taurus is broken, the advice of the two previous posters sounds reasonable.
