Re: Just what we need... another development!
Congratulations the Pocono’s is becoming more and more like NJ every day.
And actually it may work for the developer.
Most of the people that put up the McMansions couldn't afford a condo in NJ, but figured they could swing a lifestyle in Pa unobtainable in their home state.
A high end town house (done properly to attract people with real money) could attract those that want a get away without the cost of upkeep and maintenance that a house involves.
Come up on weekends. Spend some green at the casino or the ski resort. Go back to a familiar environment. Wash, rinse, and repeat.FUCK BIDEN

Re: Just what we need... another development!
Last place I worked in NJ, the controller & his wife had their second home at Arrrowhead lakes...drove up every Friday to golf Sat & Sun b/4 heading back to the rat race. As they were getting closer to retirement; they bought a 3rd home on a golf course in Fla...
When they pull the plug, they expect to sell the house in Jersey 'N summer in PA and winter in FL....
My wife's friend works near Phila & her boss just bought a foreclosed place in Toby for $35,000.00, supposed to be a 'nice place'....
They're coming!

No idea. I do know that the developer is well aware of the economic climate and seems to think this is the right time to move forward with the constuction and marketing. I also know that they have made killings when everyone else was losing money, more than once before, and that they have way more money, and a much richer lifestyle, than I do.... I also know that every one they build will put money in my pocket, so "go team"..

The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.
