It should have been 9-0, and a no brainer at that!
Entirely too precarious. And goiing forward entirely too easily overturned.

A DPC result is at worst "not a devastating loss" and at best "a pyrrhic victory". At least overturning Slaugherhouse isn't foreclosed by virtue of the court simply not addressing that arguement.
Anyone who can't see this is a monumental victory not only wants to say the glass is half empty, they deny the existence glass and water altogether. It doesn't exist, you see. It has never existed.

We should not have gotten to the place where we are celebrating this kind of win, but here we are.
Is the 'We should not have gotten to the place we are celebrating...." you or Rush?
Normally, Rush churns my stomach, but that is a flat out accurate statement, whichever one of you said it.

Doesn't anyone think it is unusual that the Supreme Court ignored the violation of 2nd amendment rights for 30 years and is only ruling now. "When something seems too good to be true it probably is." Some states are trying to assert their power on health care by using the 10th amendment ("Powers not mentioned in the Constitution are reserved for the states or the people"). The federal government is trying to establish a precedent that any Federal law can usurp the states law. Then they can ignore the states and establish a central communist government. Perhaps a constitutional lawyer reading this could comment if I might be right or full of hot air :-)

First-timer..., I'm really sick of all of the mis-information being put forth by the media and "our representatives". They had better be glad the idiots who are shooting up the schools and malls don't know..., 1. How to use a weapon. 2. How to set an ambush. 3. (and most important) Two gallons of gasoline can do a whole lot more damage than a "pretend assault rifle". Thank God most of these terrorist-types are STUPID !
