    You know all of that stuff is funny/surprising/annoying to those of us who knwo better but perfectly acceptable to those who don't. There are many areas of the law and often what we think is true isn't. For example, I'm researching more, but it appears that where I live a house doesn't need a second means of egress to be occupied.

    I agree. It's not funny to be in a system where only some folks have the means to stand up for those who are unable.

    That's called 'Framing' by the folks who study it, and the use of it to manipulate the general public is what has brought us so many problems.
