New Leather from Cabela's Bargain Cave! (Actual Pics Now!)

Stopped at the Cabelas in West Virginia earlier today and wandered around for a while and didn't really find anything that struck my fancy. I stopped specifically to look for 9mm ammo on sale, didn't find anything special. Then my girlfriend pointed out the "Bargain Cave". I'm a sucker for a deal, so we checked it out. It's essentially a room packed with unorganized sales, opened items, things that are missing parts, stuff like that. We waded through the mess until we found a shelf tucked in a back corner. It was piled high with a bunch of crappy cheap single action revolver holsters, and a few nice holsters mixed into the mess. I found a Galco Silhouette High Ride for my XD in the pile for $25 less than what Cabelas had it priced at originally. I looked it up online on my phone quick and saw that it was indeed a very good price. This is the first OWB holster I've ever tried to use for the XD and I like it a lot. I actually forgot I was wearing it a little while ago. It has a thumb break, which isn't neccesarily my favorite retention method, but for the price I'm definitely happy with it. I'm still driving home, so I'll try to put up some pics when we finally get back.

Nice holster, but uhhh, you should probably take pictures WITHOUT important credit card information in plan view. I know it's only partials but, it might be all it takes..

I am a dumb ass. Good catch. I'll take them down until I can edit them tommorow. I did see it when I uploaded the pics but dismissed it because all I looked at was a tiny thumbnail. I don't know much about snatching credit card info but better safe than sorry.

I love the bargain cave except most of the goods there arent labelled and you have no idea what guns that stuff fits.

Yea with all those PHOTOGRAPHY book's on the shelf, he must have skipped that chapter...LOL

Lololol, I see "How to Photograph Your Baby" and "Photography Unveiled". That's my girlfriends dresser. She's the photographer. Just because you get your hands on a really nice camera doesn't make you a photographer, as I am obviously not one.
