Favorite 9mm BUGs
I am considering picking up new 9mm pistol as a BUG. For those of you that carry a BUG, what are your preferred 9mm choices?

Re: Favorite 9mm BUGs
If it is a BUG, size will be important, as well as mag and ammo interchangeability.
Think KelTec P-11, one of the smallest, lightest, most compact and dependable eleven rounds you will ever find. Also uses S&W 5900 and 6900 series magazines. True "double action" with a hammer, not striker-fired.
The opinions of others will vary.
Oh yeah, to purchase it will not break the bank, either.

Re: Favorite 9mm BUGs
I like my Glock 26 a lot. I mainly got it while waiting for the generation 4 compacts to come out. Once they come out I'm getting a generation 4 Glock 19. That way they will share the Glock 19 magazines so I don't need to carry extra mags for both.
I carry my Glock 26 on my ankle or in my pocket depending on how I am carrying my primary gun.

Was at the range and got to shoot a PF-9 Kel Tec. The lightest and thinest 9mm. 12.7 oz. It shot really well for being so small. Very accurate at 7 yards. Had a great trigger pull.

Re: Favorite 9mm BUGs
Please give the OP as discriminatory feedback as possible. I say this selfishly, because I just decided to pick up the same sort of firearm in most respects. I got a great deal on a trade and picked up another WASR underpriced, so I wanna tick off my 9mm BUG box too with the savings...

Walther PPS 9mm
GLOCK like trigger system, thin as the KT offerings, very very shootable (as in handles well under recoil), decent sights, flush fit or extended mags, and its reliable with any ammo Ive fed it fr, WWB to HST's (which are notoriously hard to feed due to their large cavity and sharp edges).
Its just small enough to fit in larger jeans pockets and comfortably in front pockets in pants like 5.11's. Too big though for smaller pockets. Cargo pockets and suit jacket pockets are good. Extremely flat and flush mags though make it invisable IWB.
I gotta find a decent ankle rig to experiment with.

IWB at about 4'Oclock the Crossbreed "mini-tuck" is fantastic.
Ive had some issues with ride hight and the bend point with AIWB (appendix) and bending but atomicdog made me a decent rig.
for the pocket the FIST kydex holster is very functional, but a bit larger than it needs to be. Still a great fit for cargo pockets or "tactical" style front pockets or larger pockets.
I havent experimented with any ankle carry options.
