    Default Range report Ruger LCR

I took my new LCR ( father's day gift from wife and kid's) to the club( Alburtis Rod and Gun) yesterday. I shot PNC 38 (not +p)Bronze 132gr. FMJ At 14 ft I was able to maintain 3 inch group center of a full body target with 2 hands combat position, with 1 hand the group opened up to 6-7 inch group.I am amazed at how little recoil or bite this gun has. It was a joy to shoot, I never thought that a small gun like this would be fun to shoot, but it was. It is very concealable and easy to carry. I use a Desantis pocket holster or a fanny pack holster.

I picked one up about a week and a half ago after shooting a rental at Classic Pistol. Shot better than I expected to.

Has a night sight, and also picked up a High noon IWB holster for it.

i too shot the one at classic. nice little gun... definitely was a handful for me, having had zero snubbie experience prior to that... im typically used to shooting big heavy guns, so it was a change for sure. i think i may pick one up with the CT grips.

Shot one not too long ago, because my wife is considering one. I found the trigger very smooth and the gun surprisingly "soft" shooting (ie mild recoil) with standard pressure .38 Special. The only thing I noticed is that the trigger reach and grip in general are a bit small for my hands. If I use the first joint of the trigger finger, my finger will reach my thumb on the other side of the grip befire the shot breaks. And my hands aren't that big!!

Other than that I liked it a lot. And it would be my wife's revolver, not mine.
