There is one in Eddington near the Neshamity State Park area but it seems pretty much an exclusive club.

There's one in Philly that can be seen from 95, Holmesburg Fish and Game. I used to be a member until the prison guards kind of took it over. It's still open to members and I think it's either $100 or $150 for the year.

Holmesburg it is, thanks.
Well I just got back from checking it out. Meh. Small , mag restrictions, no rapid fire. Tho the people seamed nice and $100 a year is real nice. Anyone have any experience with the club?
Prison guards taken it over?Rifle first, rifle last, rifle always.

Their rules and range size are about the same as any other club in an urban/suburban environment.
If it is convenient for you, join.
Don't listen to the bsers here about takeovers.
You want more than 100 yards, etc., be prepared to take a long drive.

Probably joining Sunday. Though I may join langhorn rod and gun later this summer. It has more of what I want. For now this will get me shooting again.
Rifle first, rifle last, rifle always.

Re: Looking for info on a range by I95 on the Delaware river.
holmesburg is a great range, they have alot of clay shooting. pistol at 25yrds, and rifle from 25 to 100. but there's lots of rules. its not a place to practice Self defense shooting, but you can stand there all day and shoot 5rd slow fire out of your pistol all you want.
if you want to practice some SD shooting theres a place in NJ http://www.hsiusana.com/ but the hrs sucks.
