our "project leader"(this from a company with about nine people total on the pay roll, only two of which are full time field men...i'm one of them) tried to reinvent the wheel, and ended up with a triangle. what should have been a 12-15 hour job, turned into a 36 hour mess. we had no back up plan. and little relief...i hung for almost thirty hours...another guy went full pull.
clocked in friday morning, back at the shop late saturday morning.

as it turns out, a flange with 32 holes, will not readily bolt up to one that has only 31 holes. also learned that when you take some body's machine apart(not just take apart, but cut apart), then tell them the brand new part(manufactured by the company that pays you...for which they also provided a detailed drawing) that was made for it does not fit...they get real cranky, real fast.

so yeah um....i threw the gurl card for this weekend's festivities.
