New steel target pictures

I just ordered two 8" plates along with stands from Metal Man in AZ. The steel is 3/8" thick and 500 Brinell hardness. The shipping was more expensive than I was hoping for, but it's a quality target. I feel that I can make my own stands because I plan on buying more plates from Metal Man. I am hoping to get some time this winter to test them out at ranges between 300-700 yards.

What I like about the plates are they are bolted versus being welded on. Welds are not nearly as strong and I can replace the plates down the road.

That is true, what will you be shooting with at those distances?

Just my .308s and .243...I got rid of all of my larger caliber rifles.

I have that exact same target from the same company. They're very nice.
