    Default Stoeger Cougar

I keep hearing this gun is one of the best values on the market and am thinking about trying one out, my question is which is the best version of the pistol, 9mm, .40S&W, or .45ACP?

My understanding is that they are pretty much the same. Caliber and capacity is the only difference. Guns and Ammo Handguns has a pretty good write up on the 45

I picked up the Stoeger Cougar in .45ACP about 2 weeks ago, and love it. I think they've all gotten good reviews, and are very similar. The .45 is the only one with the accessory rail.

Only difference i see is that some Stoegers come with rails other then that they are the same guns. I think parts even interchange I know magazines work.
i think Beretta SS version looks better Stoeger seems to have gone with a coating rather the SS.
