Savage Mk II trigger: How to adjust/lighten
My son is using a Savage Mk II. We would like to lighten the pull for him. There is also some creep and grittiness in the trigger.
Thoughts?Never underestimate the value of early training.

polish up the firing mechinisim with the following...800 To 2000+grit wet dry sandpaper with some kind of synthetic lubricant.That will make for a smoother trigger pull any more than that I do not know.Be careful when modding your firearms.

Ps.....the savage mk2 is a great gun...My dad bought me one after I completed my hunter/trapper safety course when I was 14.
