Heidelberg 3 Gun Shoot Saturday

Hey guys,

Anyone going to the shoot Saturday? It's $10.00 to shoot and its pretty damn fun. I am definitely going, and a couple buddies from work should be making it to. I was hoping to get some of you guys to go as well.

What you need

100rds Pistol and 2 mags
100rds Rifle and 2 mags
1 Box of shotgun (Light bird shot only). I was using Federal Clay birds. It's best if your shotgun can hold 6 rounds, but it's not required.

That's what I went with last time and I left with ammo.

Suggested Optionals;

Folding chair
Cooler with drinks
Some food
Cart to carry guns and ammo from 1 stage to another.




It's very fun, and not over the top. Shooters of all skill levels go, so you don't have to worry about looking good. After the shoot the scores (or times) are posted on Enck's Gun Barn's website.

never been to a 3 gun.....dont know what it is/how it works.....maybe sometime. Lebanon gun show is saturday and hoping to get to range after.

Nice! I plan to hang around this time and help with clean up. I didn't know the shoots ran as along as they did last time and had to bolt.

I didn't order the additional mags for my other rifle so I will be taking the AR again

Yea the last stage we shot I screwed up my round count in my mags, and started shooting in the wrong order. I swear I was starting to show signs of serious heat issues. I mean, I got all screwed up. I fumbled with the shotgun reloading, and I expect that would have been the same screwed up by the heat or not.

When I was checking how I did I did so with the exception of that last stage. By Taking out that last stage I would have finished 13th, Art 17th, you 22nd, Brandon 27th, and Tony 39th. That makes me feel as though I definitely improved over last time (15th), and also shows that I need to work on managing the heat better. It really got to me at that last stage. When I got in after the shoot, I went right upstairs and slept till Sunday morning. I was seriously jacked.

You did do damn good with the CETME. I am definitely impressed. The funny thing is when I started to clean it earlier today before the wedding and to be honest, I was shocked it fired. I mean HOLY CHIT... I tried using some high temp grease and it was a freaking mess for lube and MY GAWD. I started stripping it, and I wasn't even half way removing it with a half can of brake cleaner and about 45mins before I had to leave.


So I am assuming your down the next time?
