speer lawman gol dot hp in a black and white box
As the title implies , I just bought some Speer Lawman Gold Dot HP ammo. It's 124 gr 9mm but it's in a black and white box, not the usual blue and yellow. Is this some surplus ammo issued to LE or seomething like that? It comes in a 50 rnd box.
Also, there is a stamp inside one of the flaps. Anybody know if that's a date code of some sort and how to decipher it?

Re: speer lawman gol dot hp in a black and white box
I have a box of Speer LE Gold Dot "Duty Ammunition." It has 50 rounds of .45ACP in 185grain in a black and gold/white box. It has a stamp on the flap H30Q28, which I'm assuming is a batch number. It very well could be intended for bulk sales to law enforcement; the box isn't fancy and says law enforcement on the top right.
