Ruger LCP Carry question??
I normally carry my Glock 17 with one in the chamber--in an IWB holster. I just got a ruger LCP and have a pocket holster for it. I'm a little reluctant to carry it with one in the chamber as it's in my pocket and am worried about bumping the trigger if I have to pull it out. Was just wondering what other carriers of this gun do?? Thanks in advance!

Re: Ruger LCP Carry question??
They make the triggers on those guns long and heavy so they don't go off when you "bump" them. You'll be fine. Pocket holster is more than adequate.

Desantis Nemesis Pocket holster in rear pocket, one in the chamber 24/7. Make sure there is nothing else in the pocket with it such as keys. Watch for the button on some pants, which could catch the trigger, and always put the gun and holster into the pocket together.

Re: Ruger LCP Carry question??
Pocket carry is the only mode I use for my +1 LCP. My pockets are usually tight and the gun doesn't really move. I keep nothing else in the pocket where the gun sits. When grabbing the gun out of your pocket, hook the grip with the pinky and 4th fingers and keep the trigger finger straight. When grabbing the gun together of holster, dig all the way down to the bottom of the pocket. As P-11 said, the trigger is long and 8lbs, so it mitigates the possibility. Most of all, racking the slide on an LCP is a bitch. I'd hate to have to fumble with that in an emergency situation.

Re: Ruger LCP Carry question??
I carry my LCP in a Nemesis pocket holster, round chambered. All day, every day darn near, no problems. It's trigger isn't that easy to bump. It was designed to be carried chambered safely (after recall).

Re: Ruger LCP Carry question??
I agree with all the others, +1 w/ Nemisis Holster in my front right pocket with nothing else in there, and after you shoot you LCP, you will realize it will only go off if you want it to, long trigger pull. Enjoy!

Re: Ruger LCP Carry question??
Carry either pocket or IWB with one round chambered. One of the reasons I bought the LCP was the trigger pull. It would take one hell of a bump to get it to discharge. As others nothing else in pocket.

I carry mine IWB for the sheer fact women's pant pockets aren't big enough to fit the gun in them and it would print something awful!.... My fiance carries with a pocket holster, no problems with it.
