I forgot the conditions for 1911 carry. What are they?
I forgot the conditions for 1911 carry. What are they?
I'm just trying to remember
Condition 1 mag loaded but no round in chamber the gun has to be racked to load bullet.
Condition 2 Round in chamber under hammer not recommend unless series 80, hammer has to be cocked to fire.
Condition 3 ???
Condition 4 Gun cocked hammer raised and safe on. the gun is Cocked and Locker fastest & safest carry with round under hammer.
How close did I remember?

I believe you were backwards.
0. Chambered, full mag, hammer back, safety off.
1. One in the pipe, and a full mag. Safety on.
2. One in the pipe, hammer not cocked, safety off.
3. Chamber empty, but a full mag.
4. Completely empty, no mag, slide locked back (at times).
