My first pistol
Hello, I just purchased a first pistol yesterday. A used but new to me West German Sig p226 9mm from Classic Pistol. It had orginally came with a holster and 12 extra mags, but 6 of them did not fit and were the wrong ones. I shot is a few times yesterday and it was great. Love the feel of it. Just got to get my aim down now. lol And Classic Pistol are a pleasure to deal with. Very friendly and customer service oriented. I asked them so many questions and they answered all of them. Great People.

Congrats. Now buy a case of ammo and a range membership and I will see you in the bays. Take a class, Bob offers them at CP.

Congrats on the new gun. I don't have a 226 (yet), but I have a 229 & a 220. I like my Sigs.

12 extra mags?!
I still want a P226 as a project gun. I can't seem to find a good deal locally on a rough one though.

Re: My first pistol
Congrats! P226 in 9mm is one helluva nice pistol. Excellent choice.
Watch out for those older classic SIG's though, they can be quite addicting.

Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.
