Pistol Range Search in Lancaster
Looking for a pistol range closer to home. Currently a member of Northern York Game & Fish: http://www.northernyorkcountygamenfish.com/ for their pistol range. 50 yards, shooting into a hill, high berm on both sides, can draw from holster, get up close to target & no mag limit. Need for Lethal Weapons training. DHS qualifies there. Anything like this is Lancaster?

Can you draw from holster at Manheim? It's much closer than Palmyra, but I like the handgun "pits" there where you can do almost anything.
Don't sweat the petty stuff, and don't pet the sweaty stuff.

I'm 99.9% sure you can draw from holster - its not in the By-Laws or posted anywhere saying you can't. They have tactiacl shoots and I assume draw from a holster then.

Re: Pistol Range Search in Lancaster
A couple years ago, I joined PSA over Manheim because they used to have a lead round nose only restriction on indoor shooting. I understand that rule has been abolished. I need to look into joining that club. Anyone want to take me for a visit? I was there once a few years ago and only saw one rifle range. I really like the facilities at PSA, but it's quite the drive. They also allow you to bring a guest and I think Manheim charges each guest every time they visit, correct?

Re: Pistol Range Search in Lancaster
I could possibly take you sometime in the near future, my wife is due sometime in the next 30 days so I doubt I'll make it to the range again before then.
The lead rule for the indoor range was aboloished. They let you take a guest but it costs $5 a pop, and no guests during the month of November. I guess they want the members able to get some time to sight in their rifles for Pa deer season. The rifle range is 50, 100, 200 yeards.

Re: Pistol Range Search in Lancaster
Congrats. My wife and I have a 4 month old. It's been awesome, but time has been limited. She's starting to need less frequent attention, but it's still not and never will be the same as when it was just the wife and I. Let me know when you want to meet up some time.
