Bob's body art in Hanover. The only tatoo shop I'll go to.
So, I got a tattoo of my oldest son's initials after he was born about 6 years ago. My buddy said he would pay for it as a gift. We ended up at Bob's body art in Hanover PA. He did a good job, we paid him (fair rate), I left. Moving 6 years in the future...
I have had two boys since then and I now have a girl on the way. I can't find anyone who can replicate the lettering I got from Bob's body art. I was passing it today and I figured I'd stop in and find out what he would charge to do three more sets of initials and put the word "eldest" in German above my first son's initials. He gave me a price that I thought was quite fair and then said, "It'll be more if you act like a big p***y.". Don't know if it was the words, or the funny smile on his face, but it was freakin' funny... I digress...
He went to grab a smoke from the table and turned his right side to me (I was on his left the entire time until then). When he turned I saw his colt .45 in a leather holster. I said "Hey, so you're an open carrier huh?". He says, "Why not?" (with a big grin again). I happened to be CC at the time, but I told him that I normally carry openly. He asked me what I was carrying, gave me a jab for having a "stun gun" (9mm), asked if he could take a look at it, showed me his .45, talked about guns and laws, etc., etc.. All around great experience. Plus, he quoted me $80-$85 for three sets of initials and Älteste above the one he did years ago. Seems like a fair price to me!
Seems like a good guy that does good work (tattoo has no fading) and he open carries!Proud 3%er... We'll fight for your rights, even when you won't.

Too bad he's so far away from me. I've been wanting this for quite some time, but just haven't gotten around to getting it done.
