Taylor's & Co. firearms?
Anyone familiar with Taylor's & Co. firearms? They seem to mostly make old west reproductions. I'm curious as to how good quality and price are?
Anyone have experience with any of their firearms?

Taylors' guns are made by the quality reproduction manufacturers in Italy, like Uberti and Pedersoli. They are made to Taylors' specifications for features and finishes in order to differentiate them from standard Uberti and Pedersoli offerings, and to increase the $$$ maybe a bit.
Like Stoop, I own several Taylors firearms and I am extremely pleased with the quality, workmanship, and accuracy.

Ditto. I bought a 69 cal rifle from them a few years ago, took almost a year but it was supply issue in Italy. Had a minor cleaning rod issue, Taylors was very responsive to resolve. Highly recommend Taylors.
Here's an Armi M1842 from Taylor's.

Taylor and Co. is first rate. Great folks to deal with and really stand behind their products (unlike Cimmaron Firearms whose customer service frankly stinks).

I deal with Taylors and handle their arms in West Pa. Nice folks to deal with and the Italian made arms are first rate+. Uberti and Pedersoli are suburb arms makers.

Not meaning to hijack here, but Scots and Noah, you both mentioned Italian repro makers. How is Pietta? I have an 1851 Navy Colt repro they made. Never shot it, wondering if I should get into black powder.

Re: Taylor's & Co. firearms?
I agree. They are very pleasant and knowledgeable people to deal with, and look like a terrific company. However, in I did have to cancel a recent order due to their error in advertising costs on their website. A price was stated for plated screw(S), and after order was placed, was informed that that was the price for ONE screw, not plural. The new price was more than double. They would rather lose a sale than honour their error. Oh well. Would have liked to deal with them. I am sure that Numrich or another place would happily accept my business.
