Re: New Jersey Res with Non Resident Florida permit and Pa.
ANY permit will cover you for OPEN carry, if you're harassed anyplace but Philthy. Open carry is NOT restricted though.
ANY permit will cover you for carrying while in a car. This is the real reason you need any carry permit.
see: http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/pennsylvania.pdf
Florida's Non-Resident DOES NOT COVER you for CONCEALED carry. (currently)
Us NJ people are now picking up New Hampshire's non-resident permit as it is NOT restricted for CONCEALED in PA.
The above is current and appears accurate as of this date 2017/01/23 and subject to change without notice.
Please do your own research to confirm.

I can't find the thread for this PDF, and the GOO.GL link in it is bad now.Last edited by sota; January 23rd, 2017 at 03:29 PM.

Re: New Jersey Res with Non Resident Florida permit and Pa.
Both the Utah and Florida agreements with PA specify residents of those states in regard to reciprocity. So to answer your question, no as a NJ resident you can not carry in PA with UT or FL.
Read all of the PA agreements here:

Yea OK, tell that to the NJ cop you didn't count on encountering, unless you have one of those elusive unicorns called a NJ "License To Carry A Concealed Firearm".
The topic of NJ residents coming to PA to carry and the legality of how to get your gun from NJ to here as been discussed many many times, I don't recall seeing an actual legal answer short of a NJ license.

*sigh*
in the trunk, in a separate secured case than the ammo, no ammo in any magazines.
"i'm going shooting with family this weekend" if asked and required to answer.
once I cross the border I holster and gun up. reverse the process before re-entering NJ.
Really, you PA people must think the Gestapo follows everyone around with cameras and knows the moment someone WITH A GUN so much as sneezes.
