Default Looking for a club with long rifle ranges . . .

My current club has rifle target backstops out to 200 yards, which is plenty most of the time. However, I'd like to get some practice in at 300, 400, and 500 yards in preparation for some bigger 3 gun matches.

Are there any clubs within a reasonable driving distance of the Reading area that have these facilities and allow shooting other than from the bench (prone, etc)?

    Correct.

They are within a mile or two of each other.

Penn Dutch is the cheapest and requires no meeting attendance or assessments. They are about 25 miles from Wernersville.

    Awesome, thanks guys.

At Penn Dutch, can I drive my car to the 300 and 400 yard target stands? I think I remember hearing that New Holland has a roadway back the rifle range to hang targets, not sure about Penn Dutch. Walking 800 yards round trip every time I hang new targets would get old fast, especially in the summer.

Some guys use bicycles but, in general, no vehicles are allowed. Seems, as usual, some asshats tore up the range and ruined it for the rest of us.

There was a bike at Penn Dutch for everyone to use, but someone permanently borrowed it!
