S & W .380 Bodyguard, where is it?

Has anyone seen any of these in the stores, or better yet, shot one? I've been waiting since Feb and they were supposed to be released in May, but I haven't come acrossed any.

The owner of Classic Pistol here in SE PA told me they're being held up due to performance and/or quality problems, or something like that.

I guess that beats a recall.

Or, maybe they just realized they'd be better off making it 10% bigger, chambered in 9mm.

Neither of the two new Bodyguards were on display at the S&W Demo Days at Classic Pistol this weekend. When I asked about the revolver, the distributor said that they hadn't hit the street yet, but hopefully soon.

I've got two on order from my local gun shop. He hasn't received any updates, May/June was the last eta ???? Looks like most are taking orders, and $ 430-$450 seems to be the going price. Will just keep waiting

Has anyone seen one of these pop up at a shop, preferably in the Philly/Bucks area? I've seen around the net that they've been starting to show up. I was really hoping to check one out this weekend, but a few stores that I contacted over the weekend were still waiting for their shipment to arrive.

My gun guy says he should have mine this week finally !!! Have never heard why they have been delayed so long, but if it's because of any quality issues, I'd rather wait than get something that has problems right away !!! If I get mine this week, I'll post ! Good luck !
