Bought a Taurus 608 .44 Magnum Today . . .

It's my first revolver so I have a lot to learn but it is a sexy, sexy beast. It has a matte stainless finish, 8 3/8" ported barrel and a VERY smooth DA/SA trigger pull. I've wanted this gun for almost two years and they had it today at Gander Moutain so I had to get it. If anyone can point me in the direction of a good 6 round .44 magnum speedloader let me know. When I first got into shotguns, my reload time was painful and I'm sure that will be the case here for a while too. I'll get some pictures up over the next few days . . .

HKS seems to be the standard for speedloaders around here....that ported barrel is gonna be as loud as hell..

HKS speedloaders for a S&W 629. I had a 4" Taurus .44 that shot very well. The porting helped some, and shot some sweet looking flames out too.

I thought the 608 was and (8) shot .357 on a .44 frame.

Sorry . . . It is actually the Model 44, I was thinking that it was still a 608 whether it was .44 or .357.

Congrats, Taurus makes a great revolver, i own 4 of them, now have fun with that baby- especially at nights, and enjoy the fireworks.
