Talking I just bought my first machine gun!

I'm ecstatic! I just bought a full auto H&K trigger pack. This will be my first NFA purchase, and I'm really excited about it! I can't wait to get it transferred!

BTW, does anyone know if the Lancaster Sheriff will sign off on NFA stuff? I seem to remember reading that he will, but I'm not 100% sure.

Do you think you should have checked on the paperwork before you spent the money?

He probably picked it out and put money down on it, the paper work just isn't approved yet.

So, you finally sold off enough of your title 1 guns to buy a title 2.

    Awesome.

Now, what host are you going to buy for the trigger pack?

I'm buying it from an out-of-state guy, so my paperwork won't even start for months. And yes, I probably should have asked before buying it...

Yup, it took me a long time too... But it was worth the wait!!!

I'm not sure... I'd like to have an H&K 94A3, but I probably won't be able to afford that.

So, wait - you don't have the money saved up for the host yet? How you gonna shoot it? That trigger pack is going to be the coolist paper weight ever.

I know, i have a solution. I own 2 bobcat weapons an mp5 and mp5k clone - sbr's too. I'll be nice and let you put your trigger pack into my host - as long as i can shoot it. Sounds fair to me .

    Thanks for the offer.

Which one do you like more, the MP5, or MP5k? I should be able to afford a host as soon as I sell the rest of my guns, but I'm not exactly sure what I'll get... I really like the look and feel of MP5A3, but I like MP5k's too. Decisions, decision...

Without a doubt, the mp5. While the k looks cool and all - I find it to be too small.

I'd seriously start looking for a host - now. There aren't too many clones being made anymore. I'd buy a clone and send the trigger pack / trigger housing and clone off to a good HK smith to get it all working perfect and cut to size. I would not buy a real HK94 host to beat to hell on full auto. They are just to spendy - clones are about 1/3 the cost. Plus, you'd still need to send the pack and HK94 out to get tuned / shortened too.

Unfortunately, you can not switch the trigger housing from an mp5 to an mp5k. As far as I remember, it's not an easy - pop the pins out and switch job. You'd need to move the trigger pack from one trigger housing to the other. Then you might have timing issues.

EDIT - It's been a while since i looked into all this. If you have not already, i'd spend a lot of time over on HKPRO. Those guys know their stuff.
