Default Poll on Houge Rubber grips.

I just got a set of Houge finger-grooved rubber grips and I would like to know if they improved anyone's accuracy or improved their shooting in some other way. If any of you installed them and they hurt your scores, I'd like to hear about that too.

Personally, I think you could put a set of Hogue's on an elephant turd and it would feel good. I love them, and if anything for me, they increase accuracy due to the comfortable hold and grip. Hogue + Sig p229 = Best feeling the the world.

I also have one on my AR15, which is always a must-have!

BTW: You have in the title "Poll on HRG"... but there's no poll. Didn't know if you wanted one or not... Unless you're just going by posts...

I have a Hogue that came with my S&W 629 and I love it. There is no shift whatsoever in my grip from recoil. Highly recomended.

I have them on my SIG P220 and one of my AR15's. Love them!

I first used them when I built a PPC competition gun. What they did for me was to insure that I gripped the gun the same way each time it was pulled from the holster. I also like how they fit my hand as compared to so stock grips that may be too small or too big.

i have them on the P226 and P229. totally noticed an improvement in my grip control and shooting. the only downside is they are a bit thick for a CC gun unless you just get the panels.

Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets.

Wow good info, i was thinking about getting some for my P229 but really like the stock grips. May have to get off my ass and buy them seeing everyone's comments. Not sure if the pistol could shoot any better
