"Tactical shoot" 3 gun match

It's almost that time again - the monthly multi gun match at Heidelberg Sportsmens Association in Schaefferstown, PA.

You can shoot 3 gun (pistol, rifle, shotgun), pistol and rifle, pistol and shotgun, or pistol only. It's your call.

Semi auto magazine fed rifle
Semi auto pistol or revolver, no compensators or optics. No race holsters.
20 or 12 gauge shotgun, no optics. No buckshot, steel shot, or slugs.

We shoot 4 stages.

Registration open 8:30AM - 9:30AM
Mandatory shooter's safety meeting at 9:45AM
Shooting begins at 10:00AM

I CANNOT WAIT for this shoot!!

92 & sunny should make for a nice day.....hopefully the church ladies will bring down the BBQ chicken dinners again....it would be great if they had cold drinks as well for sale...they could make a lot of $$ on a day like that.

If anyone is considering this shoot....DO IT!! Last month was my first one ever and I have never met a bunch of people who were friendlier & more supportive than this (not to mention safety conscious). Not only is this shoot FUN, but you will learn a lot (quickly) when/if you have a malfunction. This can be a "real world" experience in that sense....as I found out with a malfunctioning pistol mag!

can I get a little more information on this? I'll be home on pass that weekend and would love to shoot a bit. what is the round count and how long will it last?
What is the experience level for shooting? I want to have my girlfriend shoot a bit if she will be permitted. How much is it? What other costs may be expected? Please define a "race holster". Thanks

Let me try to take this one thing at a time.

1. Round count is approximately 80 rifle, 80 pistol, 25 shotgun. I'd bring more than that, just in case you need to reshoot a stage, etc.

2. There are shooters anywhere from beginners to advanced. Everyone is welcome.

3. Entry fee is $10 per person.

4. A race holster is something like this: http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/sid=2...775100001_d_39

Any normal strong side holster is good to go. No cross draw holsters, no shoulder holsters.
