Default Place to shoot a machinegun

Both my wife and her sisters age 13 and 16 would like to shoot a machinegun. Does anyone know of any places in or around York where they can shoot one?

You might try Shooter's Delight in Chambersburg. It's a bit of a drive, but I'm pretty sure they rent full autos to shoot. They may allow you to bring your own. Let me know, I'll come shoot it, too. My great uncle was a Class 3 dealer and I never had the chance to shoot any of his guns.
I carry a gun cause a cop is too heavy. Hippie and 3%er.

To the best of my recollection, Freedom Armory down in New Freedom rents machine guns and has a range for them.

Freedom Armory has a few available for rent. However, you will also need to get a range membership; pay as you go is $20 + range fees$12.50 hand gun range or $17.50 rifle range per half hour. Plus ammunition cost, have to buy it there.

I figure for me to shoot the Thompson it'll run me a couple hundred or so. FYI, Thompson is $50 to rent.

You have absolutely no idea of what your talking about. I have fired my West Hurley Thompson without the stock with one hand and had no problem keeping it where it was supposed to be.

perhaps we are speaking in different terms. the thompson is among the most difficult to keep on target with at more than 10 yards. you can keep it on paper for a 3 shot burst at 25 yards with practice, but many other guns are just as easy to control with a full mag dump at 100 yards.
